Step 1: Configuration in TrueBooker Settings
- Log in to your WordPress Admin Dashboard.
- Navigate to TrueBooker → Settings from the left sidebar menu.
- Scroll down to the Additional Payment Method section
- Locate WooCommerce Payment and switch the toggle button to Enable.
- No separate API credentials are required. WooCommerce Payment uses whichever payment gateways are already configured in your store under WooCommerce → Settings → Payments (Stripe, PayPal, bank transfer, cash on delivery, and others).
- Click the Save button at the top right to activate WooCommerce Payment.
Note: Before enabling this payment method, make sure a WooCommerce product is linked to each TrueBooker service from TrueBooker → Services → [Service] → WooCommerce Product. WooCommerce Payment works with any country or currency supported by your store’s WooCommerce and payment gateway configuration.
Step 2: Customer Checkout Experience
Once enabled, customers can choose WooCommerce seamlessly during the appointment booking flow.
Selecting the Payment Method
- The customer reviews their booking and cost breakdown under Confirm Details.
- Under the Select Payment Method section, select the WooCommerce radio option.
- After selecting the WooCommerce radio button, a WooCommerce Payment button will appear directly below it. Click this button to proceed.
Step 3: WooCommerce Secure Checkout
Clicking the WooCommerce Payment button creates a WooCommerce order for the booking and redirects the customer to your store’s standard WooCommerce cart/checkout page. The customer selects any available payment gateway and completes payment there. After successful payment, the customer is redirected to the Booking Confirmation page.
